All polyurethane potting compounds undergo strict quality control throughout production to ensure consistent performance, reliability, and safety.
Raw materials, including polyols and isocyanates, are inspected upon arrival for viscosity, moisture content, and reactivity. Only certified materials meeting internal specifications are approved for use.
During production, critical parameters such as mixing ratio, temperature, degassing time, and curing conditions are continuously monitored. Pot life and gel time are checked at defined intervals. Mixed samples are tested for hardness (Shore A/D), density, and bubble content before proceeding to dispensing.
For each batch, potting performance is validated through real-time sampling. Key quality checks include:
Appearance (no voids, cracks, or surface defects)
Adhesion to substrate (cross-cut or pull-off test)
Dielectric strength (for electrical insulation applications)
Thermal cycling stability (heat/cold shock resistance)
Final products are subject to 100% visual inspection. A retained sample from every batch is stored for traceability and further testing if needed.
Certificates of Analysis (CoA) are issued for each batch, documenting actual test values. Non-conforming batches are quarantined and reviewed under a formal non-conformance process.
Our quality management system is ISO 9001:2015 certified, ensuring full traceability and continuous improvement.
